There is a serious shortage of certified Rider Coaches in Florida. There are over 55 schools throughout the state and new ones are opening up weekly, but there are less than 500 certified coaches in the whole state! The job of Rider Coach is not easy, but it is very rewarding and pays very attractively. You will be hot, rained on, tired, sore, frustrated, and, if you have what it takes, you will love it.
The excitement and pride we feel in helping someone to realize their dream is amazing. We help our students not only to learn new skills and techniques, but also to find strengths and abilities inside of themselves that they never knew they had. If you are patient, persistant, detail-oriented and dedicated, then you might be Rider Coach material.
The only way to find out is to try it. No one can become a Rider Coach without first being sponsored by a Florida Rider Training Program provider. All coaches in Florida must hold current certifications through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the FRTP. Our Rider Coach Candidate (RCC) program will guide you through all of the requirements to earn your National MSF and State of Florida FRTP certifications. Once you have completed this program you will be qualified to coach here and in many other states as well.
